Association pour la Promotion du Cheval boulonnais
Founded 2008, the association main goal is to safeguard the horse of Boulogne species.
It is organizer, co-organizer and partner of equestrian sporting activities which members participate in.
These events are regional, national and even international in the form of official competitions or popular events such as "The fish road" or local celebrations.
The association has currently 98 active members.
The association ambitions:
- Its commintment is to emphasize the animal heritage and bringing with it the regional cultural, human and social history in which one the association carries in.
- Its determination is to participate in environmental protection and sustainable development.
Indeed, in some human activities (specialized garbage collection, rural school transportations, hauling...) the drafthorse makes a strong comeback.
- Reinforce the belonging to Nord, Pas de Calais, Picardie region and particularly to their rural part where the members breeders of APCB come from and in which one the horse drivers are close together.
- Its willingness is to obtain significative results in participating to national and international competitions so as to highlight the territory and its symbolic horse of Boulogne.
The association needs
- To be recognized as a useful association for the promotion of rural world in Nord Pas de Calais and Picardie.
For that we have to be known and reinforce the relathionship with professional farm authorities, equestrian world, and regional authorities with a measure of autonomy in rallying the local representatives.
- To find sufficient and necessary funding so as to cover collective expenses caused by citizenship sporting activities.So as to do so, we have to list the different sources of financing established by public government targeting in our domain. Also we have to prospect actively the possible sponsors interested in the picture we are carrying on. The APCB members know that they will have to provide to te association activities some financial comitment and personal time investment.
- To gather a big number of additional members around the core of association founders from European regions first but also from all around the France .
